Fazia Rizvi is a spinner, weaver, and natural dyer. Her multicultural family background and a B.A. in anthropology is what inspires her craft; her curiosity and love of deep dives is what feeds an obsession with vintage or vanishing tools and techniques. She has served as the Vice President and Program Chair for the Weavers & Spinners Society of Austin and is a member of the San Marcos Arts League. Fazia is a featured weaver in Inspiration from the 1950s: Handwoven Swatch Periodicals.
