I joined the Austin-Bloggers list just a few days ago - apparently just in time to hear about the first " Austin Blog Day".

What to do with Four Spare Hours in Austin:

Have dinner at Thai Passion near 5th and Congress with horse-and-carriage door service and see the capital building and several streets at a much slower pace. (Thanks sweetie!)

or

Spend a couple of hours browsing the stacks of books at Bookpeople, then trot across the street for some fabulous music finds at Waterloo Records. (Trust me, four hours ain't enough in a bookstore for this bookworm.)

or

See a movie and have dinner at the Alamo Drafthouse.

or

Take your time wandering through Central Market, for a special dinner later. Don't forget the fabulous flowers!
